Preventative and Routine Care

Dental Hygiene
Our doctors, along with our highly trained dental hygienist will assess your dental hygiene and periodontal therapy needs. Dental cleanings and gum health are necessary not only to sustain optimal oral health but also total body health. A clean and healthy mouth prevents patients from infection, dental decay, and can preserve and maintain healthy natural teeth and existing dental work. All patients will meet our dental hygiene team to evaluate and treat any gum related diseases. In addition to improving your gum health our hygienist will take the time to ensure that you are knowledgeable and stay informed about your individual oral health and how to optimally care for your dental appliances.

Antisensitivity & fluoride treatments:
Fluoride prevents dental decay or as they are commonly known, “cavities”, some patients require additional fluoride treatments which can be administered in various ways to suite individual patient’s needs. If you are suffering from dental sensitivity our office offers multiple therapies and prescriptive products to ensure patient’s dental sensitivity is controlled so you can enjoy ice cream and other cold or hot foods!

Additional preventive therapy and treatment:
Some patients suffer from “cold sores”, cracked lips, ulcers, dry mouth, and other painful, uncomfortable, embarrassing oral complications. Our doctors can prescribe and treat these problems with ease. Talk to our doctors about your oral health concerns at your individual consultation.

Sleep appliances & night guards:
Do you clench or grind your teeth at night? Clenching and grinding your teeth at night and even during the day can cause severe damage to your teeth and can cause jaw pain, headaches, tooth pain and more. Our office offers a variety of preventive oral appliances including night guards that are custom fit to ensure patient comfort. Night guards can keep patients from damaging their teeth long term and from experiencing dental, jaw, and neck pain.
